HeARt Space Tucson
HeARTist of the Month
Creativity is bigger than making art.
Each month, HeART Space Tucson welcomes a new HeARTist of the Month: someone whose work, ideas, questions, or way of being invites us to explore creativity from a different angle.
Our HeARTists may be visual artists, coaches, storytellers, healers, makers, teachers, guides, thinkers, or people whose work doesn't fit neatly into any of those categories.
Because here, art isn't only about what you make. It's also about how you pay attention, how you express what matters, and what becomes possible when you create.
Throughout the month, our HeARTist brings a theme to HeART Space and invites us to explore it together through conversation, creative experiences, and community.
November: The Art of Gathering
Featuring Adun Schrecengost
What do we gather from the world around us? How do we gather with others?
How do the things we bring together shape our sense of connection and belonging? What do we bring? What do we hope to receive? How do we belong to one another?
This November, HeARTist Adun Schrecengost joins us for The Art of Gathering, a month exploring our relationships with nature, community, and one another through animism, ritual, creativity, and the ways we find meaning in coming together.
Tea with the HeARTist
Saturday, November 7
3:00-4:30pm
What does it mean to gather in relationship with the world around us?
Join us for tea and conversation with November HeARTist Adun Schrecengost, an animist practitioner and intuitive guide whose work explores our connections with nature, community, and ourselves.
Together, we'll explore animism, reciprocity, ritual, and the ways gathering can deepen our sense of belonging. We'll also reflect on the significance of the labyrinth as a place for mindfulness, connection, and contemplation.
Tea with the HeARTist is an informal, welcoming opportunity to get to know our featured HeARTist, ask questions, share perspectives, and enjoy meaningful conversation. No prior knowledge of animism is needed—just bring your curiosity!
Suggested donation: $10–$20.
Your contribution helps compensate our featured HeARTist for their time and expertise while supporting accessible community gatherings at HeART Space. Everyone is welcome, regardless of ability to contribute.
Free to Attend, but your donations are always welcome!

Labyrinth Walk & Creative Response
A Gathering for Reflection, Connection & Creativity
Saturday, December 5Â
3-4:30pm
What do we discover when we follow a path with others? How do we walk alone? How do we bear witness?
Join November HeARTist Adun Schrecengost and Carly Flagg as we bring our month of The Art of Gathering to a close with a contemplative labyrinth walk and creative response.
A labyrinth offers a single winding path toward the center and back again, inviting us to slow down, notice, and reflect. Together, we'll explore the experience of walking with intention, gathering insights along the way, and considering what we want to carry forward.
Following the walk, we'll invite you to respond creatively to your experience through simple art-making, writing, or reflection. There's no right way to participate and no artistic experience necessary.
Come experience the labyrinth, explore your own creative response, and enjoy an opportunity to gather in community.
Attend by Donation. All are welcome.
