Creativity is bigger than making art.
Each month, HeART Space Tucson welcomes a new HeARTist of the Month: someone whose work, ideas, questions, or way of being invites us to explore creativity from a different angle.
Our HeARTists may be visual artists, coaches, storytellers, healers, makers, teachers, guides, thinkers, or people whose work doesn't fit neatly into any of those categories.
Because here, art isn't only about what you make. It's also about how you pay attention, how you express what matters, and what becomes possible when you create.
Throughout the month, our HeARTist brings a theme to HeART Space and invites us to explore it together through conversation, creative experiences, and community.

This October, HeARTist Tabitha Danloe joins us for The Art of Knowing, a month exploring intuition, symbolism, meaning-making, uncertainty, and the many ways we learn to listen to ourselves.
Tea with the HeARTist
Pull up a cup of tea and join us for an intimate conversation with October HeARTist Tabitha Danloe.
We'll talk about Tabitha's creative and spiritual work, her relationship with oracle cards, and the ways imagery, symbolism, intuition, and curiosity can help us access different kinds of knowing.
This isn't a lecture or a class. It's a conversation.
We'll hear some of Tabitha's story, ask questions, and explore what it means to trust what we notice, make room for what we don't know, and become curious about the wisdom that can emerge when we aren't trying quite so hard to figure everything out.
Come meet Tabitha, have some tea, and join the conversation. You don't need any experience with oracle cards or spiritual practices, and you don't need to attend the other October events to participate.

Create Your Own Oracle Cards
with October HeARTist Tabitha Danloe
What might you discover if you created an oracle card from your own experiences, questions, images, and ways of knowing?
In this four-hour creative workshop, Tabitha will guide you through the process of creating three personal oracle cards to take home.
You'll begin by exploring themes that feel meaningful to you, then work with imagery, symbolism, words, and intuition to bring each card to life. You'll also spend time developing the meaning behind your cards: what they represent, what they might invite you to consider, and how you might use them as a practice for reflection.
You don't need to know what your cards will be before you arrive. Discovery is part of the making.
Whether you already use oracle cards or have never worked with them before, you're welcome. No art experience is needed, and all materials are provided.
You'll leave with three one-of-a-kind oracle cards created by you, for you, along with a new way to explore The Art of Knowing.

Gallery Walk + Practically Magical Everyday Aromatherapy & Simmer Pot Drop-In
Join us as we close out Octoberā€™s HeARTist of the Month residency with Tabitha Danloe.
Come by HeART Space to see the work created throughout our month exploring The Art of Knowing, spend some time with Tabitha, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon of creativity, conversation, and a little everyday magic.
Tabitha will also be sharing Practically Magical Everyday Aromatherapy, an invitation to explore scent, herbs, and simple sensory practices you can bring into your everyday life.
There is no cost to drop in and join us. Stay for a few minutes or linger awhile, enjoy the Gallery Walk, smell some wonderful things, and see what catches your attention.
If you'd like to make something to take home, you'll have the option to purchase materials to create your own:

Making something is completely optional. You're very welcome to simply come by, experience the space, and celebrate the end of our October residency with us.
