Carly's Creative Expressions
Opportunities for creativity are everywhere. I often call myself a serial hobbyist, but in reality, I create aesthetic responses to my life. I respond to feelings and words and thoughts by making and doing. In turn, that process allows me to allow my own wisdom to come forward. I learn about myself in the doing. When I allow this space for authentic, unfiltered courage to create and observe with new eyes, my heart is full and I am in touch with my deep sense of purpose. I have more patience, deeper compassion and time feels expansive around me.Â
I share the following images with the hope that you feel emboldened by my imperfection and by the possibilities for creative expression that you may not have considered. The process of listening to our creative instincts is vital. The product of our creation may or may not be worthy of a sale or gift or display, but the ACT of creating can free your soul to dance.
